DNS leaking

There appears to be a DNS leak happening from within k8s. Below is a screenshot of DNS requests made to an external DNS server on a local network showing thousands of internal k8s DNS lookups being leaked out to the DNS server.

With the new Talos/fully Kubernetes installation this will need to be reproduced. Could auto-magically have fixed itself with that change or with the addition of Istio.
