Hope you're all having an awesome day! 🚀 I just caught wind that hJSON is in search of a new maintainer, and I'm thrilled to throw my hat into the ring!

One of the first things I'm itching to tackle is:

1. Adding support for the latest .NET version
2. Updating tests and adding CI support

I've delved into hJSON, and my enthusiasm for the project is authentic. I'm eager to introduce new updates and provide ongoing support.

I'd say create a fork. I might be inclined to help... 👍

I'm just liking the idea of human friendly json, tbh I'd like to see it get folded into regular json parsing, since a lot of times JSON is used for configs and other data structures that have humans direct editing and maintaining.

Realistically its pretty solid, runs on NetStandard-1.3 so its pretty widely compatible, and basically has no dependencies. The testing could be upgraded to an actual test project.

TBH, a mod where the parsing is lessened could be nice, where this project could spit out JObject directly without serializing-to-string/deserializing-from-string aka JObject.Parse(hjson.ToString()) but that would then bring NewtonsoftJson as a dependency...

Hi @ericnewton76 @LeonSpors, hjson/hjson-cs has been updated. I’ll be maintaining it on a best-effort basis going forward. All PRs are welcome! Thank you for your interest.
