Wanting to use Handheld Daemon on Windows 11 for my Legion Go S so that I can spoof to Steam that I'm using a Legion Go S (and not an Xbox controller)

I'm willing to pay $100 for this service if you or anyone can provide it. I can do Venmo, PayPal, Seller, whatever it is.

I want Steam input to work with the back paddles and the touch pad on the Legion Go S like I was able to when I had Steam OS pre-installed on it (but lost that feature when I wiped it and installed Windows 11 Home).

Right now SteamOS treats my Leguin Go S as an Xbox controller, and as far as I know, there is no way to fix this.

I have a Legion Go, and by referring to the legion go codes in this hhd project, I modified the SDL code myself to implement the back paddles data reporting. It seems to work well in Steam, the only problem is that my code is very bad, and SDL may not merge my code.
I've also seen the data for the Legion Go S, it looks like it just needs a little modification to support it, but I don't have a Legion Go S.
Submitting code to the SDL project is the only robust adaptation method on Windows, I believe

Root-cause hypothesis: a state flow mismatch between action handling and final UI state.
First patch plan: reproduce the issue against acceptance criteria, isolate the root cause in the relevant module, and submit a focused fix with regression tests.
If this direction matches what you want, I can publish repro notes first so review starts from concrete evidence.

Handheld daemon currently uses kernel specific apis everywhere. In the controller node, hidraw and evdev are used. Uhid is used for the steamos controller. You would need to port everything to windows. If one of you wants to try is welcome. Everything else is just Python, it will work

I don't really understand, but if it works / is stable / for the Legion Go S, that would be awesome!
