initialWorkingDirectory is not working

I'm in hypercwd (1.3.0), Hyper 3.0.0-canary.8 (canary)

hypercwd: {
  initialWorkingDirectory: '~/Desktop'
},

But still open at ~.

I wasn't putting the hypercwd inside the config in my .hyper.js.

The file is like this:

module.exports = {
  config: {
    // config options
    // add hypercwd inside here
  },

  // more things outside
}

I changed the initialWorkingDirectory from forward slash to backward slash (twice) and it worked for me.

hypercwd: { initialWorkingDirectory: "~\\Desktop" }
