Suggestion of apps that can be used for save edits in the encrypted folder

I have an issue with the app, that I allow it to open external apps and granted the right to write, but I can't actually make that any of the app actually work for a PDF file.

I have tried Xodo, and then google drive build in pdf reader editor. But both doesn't "understand" that they are allowed to write in the encrypted folder, so they ask me to write in another location.

Is there any other app that I can use that does not have this issue?

Yes this is kind of issue is frequent. Do you get better result by using the "Expose open volumes" unsafe feature and open the file from the PDF editor app?

No, unfortunately both Xodo, and drive pdf editor keep asking me to "save a copy" when I try to save modifies, annotations or comments in the pdf encrypted in the app

I personally tried to edit images using Simple Gallery, Oppo gallery (stock), Google photos, and some others - all either fail on open, or fail on save, or save to Camera feed. I've tried mounting through Documents UI in MixPlorer and Material Files and then open the photos there - all the same problems.

Once after force killing the app, and then unlocking a volume, it actually worked. But I can't reproduce it anymore - it just keeps failing now again and again.

Any recommendations are greatly appreciated!
