After upgrading to 2.0.1 the icon looks much worse

I'm on 1.1.0 and my tray icon looks fine. After upgrading to 2.0.1 it shows the 4bit color icon. My icon is an .ico file which has 32bit, 8bit and 4bit color icons but I don't know why notifyicon uses the most worse color now. As soon as I downgrade my icon looks fine again.

Pictures of before and after, along with an example .ico file, would likely make this a lot easier to test.

Same here after upgrading.

Edit: it works now after creating again the same .ico (256x256) and replacing the previous one
