This ExecPlan is a living document. Keep Progress, Surprises & Discoveries, Decision Log, and Outcomes & Retrospective updated throughout.

Maintained according to: .agent/PLANS.md

Purpose / Big Picture

Create a single‑page website that markets an AI company building voice agents for roofing contractors. Success is a clean, on‑brand landing page with clear messaging, sections, and calls‑to‑action visible in a browser.

Progress

  • (2026-01-11) Define scope details and file layout (stack, filenames, sections).
  • (2026-01-11) Generate the page structure (semantic HTML sections and layout skeleton).
  • (2026-01-11) Apply visual design (CSS, typography, color system, layout).
  • (2026-01-11) Write landing‑page copy (headlines, section copy, CTAs).

Surprises & Discoveries

  • Observation: Evidence:

Decision Log

  • Decision: Use plain HTML/CSS with index.html and styles.css in repo root. Rationale: User asked for simple HTML/CSS and to decide details here. Date/Author: 2026-01-11 / Codex

Outcomes & Retrospective

  • Outcome:
  • What remains:
  • Lessons:

Context and Orientation

  • Repo currently contains loop scripts and docs only; no site files exist yet.
  • Stack: plain HTML/CSS with index.html and styles.css in repo root.
  • Target audience: roofing contractors evaluating AI voice agents.
  • Planned sections: hero, problem, solution, features, process, proof, FAQ, final CTA, footer.

Plan of Work

  1. Confirm scope and constraints (minimal, simple HTML/CSS, file locations).
  2. Create the HTML structure with semantic sections (hero, problem/solution, features, process, proof, CTA, FAQ, footer).
  3. Create the visual design system (colors, typography, spacing) and implement layout styles.
  4. Write copy aligned to the audience and value proposition, then finalize content placement.

Concrete Steps

  • Review README.md and any existing guidance.
  • Use index.html + styles.css in repo root and document it here.
  • Build HTML skeleton with semantic section IDs and placeholder copy.
  • Add CSS for layout, typography, color palette, and responsive behavior.
  • Replace placeholders with finalized copy.

Validation and Acceptance

  • Command: python3 -m http.server 8000
  • Open http://localhost:8000 in a browser and verify:
    • Page renders without broken layout or missing sections.
    • All sections present and readable on desktop and mobile.
    • CTA buttons are visible and consistent.

Idempotence and Recovery

  • Re-running structure/design/copy steps should only overwrite index.html and styles.css (or chosen files).
  • If a change is unsatisfactory, revert the last edit in those files and re-run the specific step.

Artifacts and Notes

  • To be filled with snippets of HTML/CSS or screenshots after implementation.

Interfaces and Dependencies

  • None (static site unless a framework is chosen).
