Nothing happens when I click the NearDrop button under the Share menu

I'm running Sequoia 15.6. I downloaded the app -> went into Login Items & Extensions -> Sharing -> and activated the NearDrop extension for sharing.

The extension successfully opened the NearDrop sharing window with the QR option only once. The next time I tried to open the NearDrop extension, nothing happens. I've tried resetting the extension sharing setting I mentioned before but to no avail.

Help please!

I forgot to mention I'm trying to open the extension to share a whole folder, not just a single file.

You can't share folders.

It's just not something the protocol supports. To work around that, you can make a zip archive out of it and share that, then unpack it on your phone.

I had the same issue, the QR option on shows up once for me. There should be an option to make the QR code pop up
