tdm.tcz not loaded

when building a new iso, and booting from it, the tdm_* executables and smc_utils are nowhere to be found. I unpacked the ISO and found that in /cde/optional the tdm.tcz is present. I have no idea about this, but every other tcz file has another file with the md5sum in it.

Is this not generated in the ISO? Is this even needed? If not what could be the issue?

I had the same issue. Seems like the iso is not mounted after boot.
As a workaround the following command did the trick

sudo /usr/bin/fromISOfile /mnt/sdd2/boot-isos/Core-remastered.iso

sdd2 may be different, check with dmesg. it should list the mount in the log.

Same issue for me and workaround works. Would be curious to know what the cause is... My usb drive gets auto-detected fine and the boot sequence for TINYCORE seems fine... just don't get any of the remounting of the remastered core that it's supposed to do. Seemed to me like the same as #8 but I don't need to mess with any of the device ids - autodetection seems fine.
