This is now supported. Copilot CLI includes a full plugin system that lets you package and install MCP servers, custom agents, skills, and commands as a single distributable unit. You can install plugins from GitHub repositories or through built-in marketplaces using /plugin install, browse available plugins with /plugin marketplace, and manage installed plugins with /plugin list, /plugin update, and /plugin uninstall.
