Can you share a screenshot of what you're missing here, because the filename should appear in both the timeline and the permission request:

You are absolutely right! But when the edit content is long (most cases), without scrolling up the console screen, you don't see the file name and path. The user just see the long suggested edit and the message "Do you want to edit this file?". How about changing the message to "Do you want to edit this file ("filename")?" I know, it's a bit redundant but it would be a better UX, I believe. Thx.

That tracks, and I think Claude does this as well, gonna update the title.

This has been fixed in v0.0.353. The edit confirmation prompt now includes the actual filename instead of the generic "Do you want to edit this file?". If you're on a current version and still seeing the old behavior, please feel free to reopen.
