Problem Statement
Dashboards let us display a ton of useful quantitative information about our system, but there are times when some additional context would be useful.
Sometimes that context is a guide on how to use the dashboard, or a link to a runbook, or a link to another deep-dive dashboard for a specific workflow, or even just a big notification letting folk know something important.
Currently there doesn't seem to be a good way to add this information to a dashboard
Solution Brainstorm
It would be awesome to support a panel type that just renders raw Markdown.
Headers, bullets, code, links, all of it would add much more versatility to dashboard views that require a bit of extra context or support, especially for OnCall responders that are waking up at 2AM to debug an issue.
