Response from Service-Now: The reason you are not having success with this is a system property that was introduced which prevents people from running javascript DB side in the url to prevent possible malicious attacks. You're welcome to turn this off, but I just wanted to address why you were being prevented from doing this by default.

1. Navigate to System Properties > All Properties
2. Search for 'glide.script.use.sandbox'
3. Set value to false
4. Save

Hi Greg,

I'm trying to set up SSO to Service Now using CAS 2.0. I followed your instructions but couldn't get it to work for my instance. I wanted to check with you on how you were viewing the Installation Exit script logs in service now because all i get is the following:

"rg.mozilla.javascript.EcmaError: "CASSingleSignOn" is not defined.
Caused by error in at line 1

==> 1: new CASSingleSignOn().process();"

Is your Installation Exists named 'CASSingleSignon'?. Make sure it overrides 'ExternalAuthentication'.

Yes, it is the same name and it overrides ExternalAuthentication.

It was the name issue! I had a upper case in the name and I didn't notice it. Thanks a lot!

I still have some issues with the script but I'm able to see the logs now. Hopefully, I can fix it.

Thank you for the script. With minor changes, I was able to get Single Sign On to work.

I have one more query regarding Installation Scripts. Is it possible to make changes to allow users to use service portal without making them sign in to CAS? I tried making some changes and it did not work for me in the script. Hence, wanted to check if you have had a scenario like that.

I'm wondering if you could somehow make the page public so that it is taken
care of before SN even has to ask for authentication. The other way to
make forms public would be to feed tasks through the api or by email.

Thank you, I had to make the "view_content" page for the CMS as public. Everything worked fine then!
