State of the thing

Im loooking into connect HTTP HAL response (like spring-data-rest you shown) with datatables and don't have a clue from where to start. I seen your proyect very promising but i see it's a bit outdated. Can you tell me how is the state of the project and give me some suggestions from where to start?
