• This is a new entity that needs to be generated based on the FUN field, which contains a plain-text description of the type of a governmental function this CorporateBody does

• Some work is underway at the Archives of Ontario around the creation of a controlled vocabulary of such functions (e.g., “investigation”)

• Odds are that some Named Entities within RiC-O or other ontologies are applicable

• A new coloring is needed for these, given that they are not created directly from the existing data, c.f. date parts

• Private records (all or some) do not have an Agent creation date - that is, not the date of the creation of the record but the actual coming to the existence of the Agent, e.g., date of birth for a person

• Also, for persons the year of birth can be store as a part of the heading

This is something we won’t be working on as of now. The controlled vocabulary of governmental functions has been created, but its implementation for historical data will require a lot of processing and human validation, so won’t fix for now.
