Should a page describing the crawler be mandated?

In section 2.5 Crawlers must expose IPs, there is the following paragraph

The object containing the IP addresses must be linked from the page describing the crawler, and it must also be referenced in the page's metadata for machine readability.

It implies crawlers should have a page that describe them. It is not introduced anywhere in the document.

Maybe there should be a section describing such expectation.

@thibmeu I think Mirja or I accidentally addressed this since the issue was created. Could you look at 2.2. Crawlers must be easily identifiable through their user agent string and see if that covers what you were thinking?

The text mentions a description URL, and adds an example which makes this clear.

I don't think there is a shared practice for this document, so that's a great way to move around that.
