While checking over old changes in various packages I found that, back in December 2022, there had been a suggestion that the two implementations of AlgebraHomomorphismByFunction in FR and in XModAlg be merged into Utils. Shortly afterwards there was a decision to synchronise the two implementations "prior to transfer to the main GAP library". No such transfer has taken place, and I am unaware of any decision to (a) stick to the status quo; (b) transfer to Utils; or (c) transfer to the main GAP library. What's best?
