I propose a new game mode called Portal Barrier Mode. In this mode, a special type of two-block long barrier is placed on the grid (as seen in the accompanying image).
When the snake's head attempts to move into the entry block of this two-block barrier, it does not result in a collision or Game Over. Instead, the snake instantly teleports to the opposite block of the barrier, which acts as the exit point. The snake continues its movement from this exit position while maintaining its current direction.
