Octave up/down not working in my special case

Hi,

I have found a way to use the Caps Lock key as a Hyper key (as coined by better touch Tool), that is a hot key comprising of all four special keys on the Mac: Shift, Control, Option and Command. With this key held down I can use the Midikeys to input notes in Dorico 6. The only thing not working is the Octave down/up key combination (arrow keys). They work while the Midikeys is in focus, but not through my workaround.

Somebody has an idea? It would be nice if the Octave Up/Down could be reassigned to another key combination, maybe that would solve my problem.
