interface for RDM emulator

I tried the RDM emulator. The emulated device is found by DMXrouter on the internal loopback 127.0.0.1.
This seams obvious, because it's the same software emulating and acting as a RDM controller.

Is there any chance to select the used interface for the RDM emulator?
It would be great to use this emulator with other RDM controllers on the network.

If I didn't miss this option, then I would like to request that feature:

• either: the RDM emulator should use the selected interface
• or (preferred): the user can select the interface of the RDM emulator separately; including the 127.0.0.1

Good catch again — and your report led to a fix, though the mechanism turned out to be different from the loopback theory.

The emulator actually already had a full network-side responder: DMXRouter advertises the emulated ports as extra Art-Net binds in its ArtPollReply (RDM-capable flags set), answers ArtTodRequest with the emulated TODs, and replies to ArtRdm — and reception was never restricted to loopback. The real gap: all of that transmit path was gated on the interface having Art-Net output active. If you run DMXRouter purely as an RDM responder, with no Art-Net output routed on that NIC, it never created a send socket there — so it stayed silent on the wire, and the only place the emulated devices showed up was DMXRouter's own internal view (which labels them 127.0.0.1, hence the loopback impression).

Fixed for the next release: an active RDM emulator now makes DMXRouter an Art-Net RDM responder on every interface enabled in DMXRouter, whether or not Art-Net output is routed there. External controllers will discover and query the emulated fixtures normally.

On the separate interface selector: I went with "follows the enabled interfaces" instead — it keeps one mental model for the whole app (same policy the MA-Net changes from #43 follow), and the local/loopback case always works regardless, since DMXRouter's own controller talks to the emulator directly. If you need the emulator on an interface, enable the interface.
