sACN Monitor Improvements

In 1.11.2 the monitor tab does not respekt more than one sACN-source for the same universe. Values might flicker.

to reproduce:

• send the same universe by two different sACN-sources (from two divices) at the same time with the same priotity
• set channe 1 on source 1 at 100% and on source 2 at 0%
• open the universe in the Monitor

problem:

The value for channel 1 is flickering.

request/solution:

At least add the merge-function from sACN per universe priority (higher priority wins or same priority are merged by HTP).

Further requests:

• List the different sources for each universe including priority.
• selecting the universe, the monitor should show the merge-result of all sources depending on priority.
• selecting a source for a universe, the monitor should show only the values of this selected source for this universe.

This is a known issue in the current version. When multiple sACN sources transmit the same universe, the Monitor view does not currently distinguish between individual senders, which can result in the flickering behavior you observed.

This has already been addressed in the next update. The architecture has been changed so that universes are grouped and displayed by sender, allowing each source transmitting a universe to be monitored independently. This removes the ambiguity caused by multiple transmitters sharing the same universe and provides a clearer representation of the received data.

Once the update is released, you will be able to see each sender separately for a given universe, making it much easier to identify and monitor individual sources.
