Harp Current Driver

This device is designed to drive currents up to 1A. It can be used in optogenetics stimulations, either by directly driving the current of the LED, either by controlling the LED driver via TTL with the device's DACs.

Key Features

  • Drive currents up to 1A
  • Control over 2 DACs
  • Support for pulsed currents/voltages
  • Support for rising and/or falling ramps when changing current/voltage values

Connectivity

  • 1x clock sync input (CLKIN) [stereo jack]
  • 1x USB (for computer) [USB type B]
  • 1x 12V supply [barrel connector jack]
  • 2x LED outputs (5V, up to 1A) (LED0, LED1) [screw terminal]
  • 2x 16-bit resolution DAC outputs (5V) (DAC0, DAC1) [screw terminal]
  • 2x general purpose digital outputs (5V) (DO0-DO1) [screw terminal]
  • 2x general purpose digital inputs (5V) (DI0-DI1) [screw terminal]

Interface

The interface with the Harp CurrentDriver can be done through Bonsai.
