Since ESM works well with newest transformers versions, can we update pyrproject.toml?

Hello!
Right now ESM-3 caps transformers at 4.48.2 while it still works with newer versions perfectly.
I need to use ESM-3 in a model setting that needs transformers 4.49.0 at least
Could this be updated?

+1 to this. I'm manually installing transformers==4.56.1 and everything seems to be working fine using ESM-C

@imathur1 can we look into loosening up the version restriction in pyproject.toml?

We loosened the version restriction for transformers to 4.52.4 in this PR: #283. Higher versions may run into dependency issues

Version is no longer pinned to 4.52.4, I loosened it to <4.53.0 #284. I hope this helps!
