Notify the user when a significant edge appears on a Polymarket market, so they don't have to sit watching the side panel waiting for opportunities.
User Story
A trader is browsing the web or doing other work. The Synth Overlay detects that edge on a BTC daily market just spiked above their threshold. They get a notification — click it, land on the Polymarket page, and see the full edge analysis in the side panel ready to act on.
Scope
- Browser notifications when edge on any monitored market exceeds a user-defined threshold
- User can configure what edge level triggers an alert
- Notifications should include the key info (asset, market, edge size, signal direction) so the user can decide whether to look without clicking
Why
Edge is time-sensitive — by the time a trader manually checks, the opportunity may have closed. Alerts turn Synth Overlay from a passive viewer into an active opportunity scanner.
