BACnet/IP Auto-Discovery – Feature Request & Clarification

Hi team,

I'd like to ask and clarify whether NeuronEX currently supports any form of BACnet auto-discovery, and if not, is this part of future releases.

Clarification

From the docs, it looks like the BACnet/IP plugin requires manually entering the device IP, port, network number, device ID, and all tags. Is there any discovery mechanism available that I may have missed — in the UI, API, or an upcoming release?

Feature Request

If not supported, I'd like to request BACnet auto-discovery with the following capabilities:

• Device scan — broadcast a Who-Is and list all responding BACnet devices
• Object enumeration — read each device's Object_List and auto-populate tags, similar to the existing OPC UA tag browser
• Continuous/periodic discovery — re-scan on a schedule to detect newly added devices, compare against existing ones, and automatically highlight or prepare new objects for review. This is especially important in building automation environments where devices are added over time without manual reconfiguration.

Current Workaround

Using Yabe externally to enumerate objects, then importing tags via CSV. It works but is tedious and misses any devices added after initial setup.
