Problem with the OUTLINE feature in Visual code in Linux

Hi,

I'm a starting to setup a development environment in Linux using NextBuild suite with Visual Code. I'm new with both things. I have an issue that I'm fighting with... any help/hint would be appreciated.

I have downloaded installed both NextBuild suite and starting the Visual Code with the suggested extensions as described in the tutorial.

The extension seem to work well, the keywords etc are properly highlighted in the IDE and the examples compile without any problem.

The issue is that OUTLINE panel in visual code does not found the symbols of the opened files, it always states "No symbols found in document ...."
