compatibility with "LG 360 Cam" camera

hi. Searching for a tool to edit footage from an lg360 camera, i found your work that seems very interesting.
But i cannot import my footage in davinci because it seems to have only auio data (novideo track), and kdenlive (i usually use to edit) do not show your ofx plugin.

Do you know if is it possible to use your plug in kdenlive?

Do you know if there is an issue with my video format in davinci?

I've checked your footage…

• You may use my main project : https://github.com/eltorio/reframe360XL wich contain the whole plugin with binaries for MacOS/Windows/Linux this one is just the Max to Equirect transform.
• It is an OpenFX plugin, it is a standard but unfortunately Kdenlive is not OpenFX compliant.
• Your footage works perfectly on DaVinci Resolve 17.4.2 on my MacOS 12.2.1
• It appears that your footage is not Equirectangular projection nor Equiangular cubemap but a sort of two fisheye footages.
• I do not know your LG360 cam but you may try to convert the footage to a standard equirectangular or equiangular projection.
• with ffmpeg you may start with a filter like this (-f sdl2 -) is just for outputing directly to the screen
  ffmpeg -i lg_360_cam_extract.mp4 -vf v360=dfisheye:e -f sdl2 -
• but probably you can generate equirectangular file with the tools provided with your cam since it is the most used 360 format, I have 3 differents 360 cams and all can produce equirectangular files.
• this is a test with your raw footage on DaVinci, the image seems curved because I choosed equirectangular projection, but yours is "sort of dual fisheye"
