QA - Roundcube - How to add external plugins?

Hi,

I installed your roundcube image and wanted to install external plugins.
I tried to use the ROUNDCUBEMAIL_PLUGINS environment variable but I think it's supposed to enable the already installed ones and not install some other from packagist.

Do you think you can direct me towards the way to go?

Hello,

You can bindmount them with volumes and then enable them in ROUNDCUBEMAIL_PLUGINS, eg

volumes:

• /yourfilesystem/plugin1:/var/www/html/plugins/plugin1:ro
• /yourfilesystem/plugin2:/var/www/html/plugins/plugin2:ro
  (where /var/www/html/plugin is inside the container)

If you tell me what plugins you want i can bake them into the container too.

Do you think the problem comes from the plugin, from me, or from your image?

from what i can see in your logs is that the plugin needs to create a column in table "identities" and create a table "identity_switch" in the roundcube database.
