monero_wallet_ng reponse exceeded size limit

trade is stuck at 0/10 monero confirmations even though it has already 30+ confirmations

the error for the taker in the GUI, in the log is:
monero_wallet_ng
failed to refresh confirmation subscription
error: "Interface(InterfaceError(\ConnectionError(\"reponse exceeded size limit\")

restart of computer / gui did not help

v3.6.7 win64

This needs to be addressed (possibly upstream at monero-oxide)

@binarybaron you know monero-wallet-ng better than I do, please investigate this. It's preventing swaps from completing
