<p>
I am a Postdoctoral Scholar in the <a href="http://www.dbmi.pitt.edu">Department of Biomedical Informatics (DBMI)</a> at the
University of Pittsburgh. I aim to develop an NLP-empowered Electronic Health Record, to support naturalistic data capture
and holistic analysis of health data. This includes development of new <b>Technologies</b>, to easily translate unstructured text
into well-formulated data for analysis; new <b>Data</b> sources, to capture personal and environmental factors of patient health;
and scientific <b>Understanding</b> of the role and the variability of language in health services. As a postdoc in DBMI, I am
investigating new patient-reported sources of data on environmental factors of disability, and disparities in health documentation
for patients of different races and ethnic backgrounds.

I received my PhD in 2020 from the <a href="http://web.cse.ohio-state.edu/slate">Speech and Language Technologies (SLaTe)</a> lab
at The Ohio State University, in the department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), co-advised by
<a href="http://web.cse.ohio-state.edu/~fosler">Dr. Eric Fosler-Lussier</a> (CSE) and
<a href="http://informatics.wustl.edu/research-lab-albert-lai/">Dr. Albert Lai</a> (Washington University in St. Louis).

I also translate stories in Russian! One of them (translated as joint work with other students at Carleton College) was
