1. Why do you want to become a member of the Dragonfly organization?

As a Cloud-Native Architect and CNCF Golden Kubestronaut, I am deeply invested in the scalability and efficiency of container image distribution and AI workload orchestration at the enterprise level. Dragonfly's graduation within the CNCF validates its critical role in the modern infrastructure stack. I want to become an official Member to deepen my technical contributions, assist with architectural reviews, and continue evangelizing the project globally at major industry conferences.

2. List of contributions to the Dragonfly project

Code/Architectural Contributions:

• feat: add Hugging Face backend support with hf:// protocol — Implemented a native backend for P2P-accelerated downloads from Hugging Face Hub in the Dragonfly Rust client.
• feat: add ModelScope backend support with modelscope:// protocol — Added ModelScope registry integration for the Chinese AI ecosystem.
• fix(dragonfly): replace deprecated bitnamilegacy/mysql with bitnami/mysql — Bumped the MySQL chart dependency and resolved bitnami image deprecation issues in the Helm chart.
• feat(dragonfly): add injector support to helm chart — Adding Dragonfly injector webhook support to the official Helm chart.

Documentation & Blog Contributions:

• docs: add hf:// protocol documentation for Hugging Face integration — Authored user-facing documentation for the Hugging Face backend.
• blog: add P2P-accelerated AI model downloads blog post — Published a technical blog post on the Dragonfly website.

Community Evangelism:

• Presented on behalf of the Dragonfly project at The Linux Foundation's HPSFCon (March 2026).
• Preparing a submission for the upcoming KubeCon NA 2026 Maintainer Track to further highlight Dragonfly's enterprise use cases.

3. What are your future plans for contributing to the project?

My primary focus will be continuing to bridge the gap between Dragonfly and advanced AI infrastructure (such as my ongoing work with KEDA GPU autoscalers). I plan to increase my PR velocity, actively assist the core maintainers in reviewing community submissions, and represent the project at KubeCon and other international cloud-native forums.
