Is there anyway to capture the data (Power & Cadence etc.) to my Garmin Connect Watch?

I haven't been able to get my Garmin Forerunner 970 to detect Grupetto even though it appears on other devices. I suspect it's a case of Garmin only supporting certain sensors.

I added ANT support and was able to get power, speed and cadence on my Garmin Fenix. Check out my fork:
