Raspberry Pi OS trixie not supported libgpiodv2 not available under trixie

Raspberry Pi OS trixie (Debian 13) does not support libgpiodv2, the system provides only the libgpiodv3.
The library crash on load while the libgpiodv2 not found.

Please add for the new Rasbian trixie 13 the support of libgpiodv3 into this library.

[Triage] @maza70 can you provide exact error message/call stack and hardware you're using? Is this blocking? If you install v2 does that make it work?

I ran into this too. Here's the exception information on a Raspberry Pi 5:

Here's what's installed:

There is no libgpiod.so.2 to install from the Trixie repository and if you try to symlink libgpiod.so.2 to libgpiod.so.3 or libgpiodcxx.so.2 you end up with this:

What works for me is using UnixDriver.Create() which checks if v2 or v3 lib is available.

GpioController controller = new GpioController(UnixDriver.Create());

However, this seems to work with RPI5 only.
On RPI4 I'm getting the exception:
