F# won't run in Jupyter Notebook in VSCode #4139

Describe the bug

No amount of effort on my part and no amount of effort on the part of the AI can get F# working in a Jupyter Notebook on my Laptop 7 (Arm64). This appears to be unique to the Laptop 7; works fine on my Laptop 5. I have spent several days trying to get this to work, to no avail. I would like to return the Laptop 7 to Microsoft, but since I bought it when it first came out, I doubt this is possible. I am motivated to avoid Microsoft machines in the future, however. I've been a loyal customer for decades, and I'm a stockholder.
