#!connect jupyter fails with "KernelSpec python3 not found" despite being visible in jupyter kernelspec list (macOS)

Describe the bug

#!connect jupyter --kernel-name pythonkernel --kernel-spec python3 doesn't connect me to any of my python kernels available globally. I want to have python alongside my SQL in my notebook. As advertised :)
