Windows contact not working since 5days

Hi,
Since 5 days my window sensors are not reporting anymore. I think that was the date, i installed homey stable 2.0

Did you already tried to restart you device? And does it work then again? Does it fail after certain time? Can you recheck with the window_switch_testing branch and give me the output of it?

I guess the app makes issues with the max cube. I lost again all devices in the cube. Since two days the devices in homey lost their connections.

I've had that issue to in the beginning. I think this is because the there are to many open connections to the cube and then it overwrites it's own memory. With the default settings, I have not reproduced this error. Can you give the settings that you use and also check if other connections are made to the cube.

I have no other communications anymore. In the past I used openhab. Is your app using a stable connection or build it all xx seconds or minutes a new connection? That depends on your settings. With default settings, it connects every 5 minutes.
If you changed the settings and set a shorter interval than 10s, then you have a continuous connection.

I had this issue when creating the module. It was related with spamming the cube with connections. If you have multiple outstanding connections to the cube, it saves that and eventually overwrites the cube zone data. (From what I could deduce). After adding that my system only connects one at a time, it was solved. That is the reason I ask you if there are other system accessing the cube and if you have changed the default settings of the device inside homey.

You go into the device (by long press). Then go to the settings dialog (top right cog icon) and then advanced settings.

Maybe it’s time to bring the app to the app store. I still have the issue that i lost my connections. And my max! portal lost all devices.
