Docker desktop not starting on macOS 26.3.1

Bug report

When I try to start docker desktop on my mac it gives the following error

service command exited with code 1: command exited with code 1: io: read/write on closed pipe

I tried resetting to factory default, and it gave the same error. I also tried reinstalling (via my company's self service portal) but it gave the same error.

Those commands hang as docker won't start. I am on v4.65.0
