mount exec format error

Hi ,
Thank you for this script. When I run it, I get

chroot: failed to run command ‘mount’: Exec format error

It says this is the command that fails:
chroot /var/chroot/trusty mount -t proc proc /proc

I am running this on an arm device called PCDuino that has ubuntu trusty 14.04 32 bit installed.

Maybe you should modify the script and change arch=i386 to something different (suitable for the arm processor).

Thank you, I missed that. I set arch to armv7l , now I get this error:

E: Invalid Release file, no entry for main/binary-armv7l/Packages

uname -a yields:
Linux pcduino 3.4.79+ #1 SMP PREEMPT Thu Dec 25 05:47:38 PST 2014 armv7l armv7l armv7l GNU/Linux

I also tried arch=armhf, the script went further and I got a different error:
E: Couldn't download dists/trusty/main/binary-armhf/Packages

I am not clear as to where the script is looking for these packages. Was I supposed to install/download something that I missed? Any ideas?

Maybe there is no arch like armv7l, maybe it is just arch=arm.
Otherwise change apt_mirror='http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu'

I have tried arch=arm as well and it was similar error: E: Invalid Release file, no entry for main/binary-arm/Packages

I am kinda new to all this, what did you mean for me to change the apt_mirror to? Are you saying that I should look for an arm mirror? I did not think there was a specific one :(

But I cannot test it for you. It seems that your options are either arch=armhf or arch=arm64.
And maybe you also need to add this to the list of package sources:

deb http://ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports $suite main

If you make it work, tell us how you fixed it, so that we can create a branch for arm in this repository.
