Seems to hang on first prompt in large folders

Describe the bug
I sometimes want to use dirac not as a coding agent but to do stuff. But if I launch dirac in the ~ and ask it something (I was using /askdirac) it seems to hang so instead of displaying the "Acting" I get this:

1. Go to ~
2. Ask anything

Expected behavior

• local folder indexing (which I suspect is what's happening) should be shown to the user while it's running. Via a spinner or something.
• /Askdirac should bypass "local folder indexing"

Surface and Version:

• Cli/IDE cli
• Version 0.3.41

Additional notes:

• adding --verbose didn't help (no UI change).
• "large folder" can actually even designate small folders like my repository for wdoc

I had come across the index triggering bug in the initial release and it was fixed by adding a isRepo check

Interesting, FYI aider noticed when the local folder was not a git repo and asked on start to either create it or disable git like features. This was handy. Also there were cli args to bypass this check if we never care about creating a git repo (eg: when using dirac as a non-coding asistant).

No, ~ doesn't but wdoc does.

This is a good pragmatic suggestion. Adding something like --noindex would help a lot of unforeseen edge cases.
