Double corner plots

Hi,

I am interested in generating the corner plot shown below using this package. Most of the required functionality is already available; however, the only limitation I have encountered is the fixed number of subplots.

If it were possible to pass a figure with a larger number of axes, such that the code checks only for the required number of square panels rather than enforcing a fixed figure size, that would be ideal.

A few times I had to modify corner.py for my specific purposes and now I think it would be best to re-write it using objects.

Hi @rpoleski,

I am currently working on an object-oriented rewrite of the corner plotting functionality, reusing several utilities from this package. At this stage, I have a minimal implementation that reproduces the same results as the existing corner plots.

I would appreciate it if you’d be open to taking a look and sharing your thoughts or feedback.

I’ve also attached a sample plot generated using the new implementation.
