Weekday in German into pdf template

Hello everyone,
I am trying to add the weekday in German before the start date in the PDF template. Has anyone already done this?

You could use the following "secret" helper function as well.

[[ getLocalizedDate(reservation1.startDate, 'EEE', app.request.locale) ]] [[ reservation1.startDate|date('d.m.Y') ]]

Will result in e.g. Mi. 11.03.2026.
When you use EEEE as pattern you get e.g. Mittwoch
Patterns are based on this documentation here.
app.request.locale is the configured language of your application but you can set 'de' or 'en' as well if you want specific translations.
