create a one day event on default table reservation view using click & drag

the reservation overview has a default table view and a yearly view.

on the table view i can create a new event by clicking and dragging the cursor to the next day.
it is not possible to click and drag and create a one day only event. the drag always needs to go over to the next day.
it would be great if i could create a reservation using mouse only that starts and ends on the same day. (e.g. morning till evening)

on the yearly view it is possible to create a one day only reservation using click and drag.

Hi, most of the logic and views expect an entry that goes over night (start and end date are not equal). When you add a one day event in the yearly view and switch back to table view you will see that the table breaks a bits. And no prices are calculated in the invoice.
The recommended way is to end a reservation on the next day.
Therefore, I'm interested in the scenario or use-case you have to display it as one day event.
Changing this would be a bigger change at the end :(

hi,
we are using the software for an educational center ("bildungshaus"), where of course people usually also stay over night. however some companies just book the conference room for one day. they come in the morning and leave in the evening for a one day event. that would be our additional use case.
