Pipewire

Hello! it seems like pulseaudio was depecrated (atleast on arch) for some DE's
It worked fine before but now it doesnt seem to work, audio is not detected, no "Built In Device" in pavucontrol
I also installed pipewire-pulse, it seems like it doesnt work on it
Its on a fresh install of arch linux, would love to get some help!
Server Name: PulseAudio (on PipeWire 1.2.1)

i don't know if pacmd binary exists for pipewrie but you can try this:

in order to manually adding the device as an input.
first checkout the name of the device, in this screenshot it is: hw:1,1,0

then manually create the device using:

pacmd load-module module-alsa-source source_properties=device.description=DroidCam device=hw:1,1,0

and i guess it should appear

as you saw, it shows Pulseaudio (Server Pipewire)

In the past, I was able to use DroidCam on Arch Linux with PulseAudio without any problems. But since I abandoned Arch and went to other distros with Pipewire, I have not been able to use it on any of them, Ubuntu and Fedora are worth mentioning. On Ubuntu, I tried using Pipewire Pulse, but it didn't work and after a long time trying to get it to work I even broke the entire system audio. On Fedora, I had the same problem, but I avoided installing pipewire-pulse, I just tested it without modifying my system. DroidCam doesn't appear at all in pavucontrol, and there are no "Built-in Devices" mentioned. By the way, regarding the video, I could only get it to work via the OBS plugin, but it didn't work on other apps. I heard that SDL3 has been released, so maybe it's a good time to update DroidCam for Linux and better integrate it with Wayland and Pipewire.
