[Feature Request] Get number of batches left

Is there a way to query for the number of batches the process still has? I show a notice when the is_processing() or is_queued() function returns true but it would be nice to show batches left as a progress indicator.

Additionally, any way to get the total number of batches? So it can be shown as something like 31 / 102 remaining.

Hey @joezappie, there's current no way to get the number of batches remaining unless you use count() on the result of get_batches().

It would probably be nice to have a get_batches_count() method for that, I'll add that to the todo list.

Unfortunately there's no way to differentiate between total and remaining batches as each batch is removed on completion. If you have some other higher level state you track, you could keep track of the original count.

Please note that a batch is a mini queue of tasks, so you are able to inspect the current batch to see how many tasks are left, but again, a task is removed on completion, and completing the last task completes and removes that batch.

@ianmjones A get_batches_count() would be great and was my main concern to just be able to show something is happening in my notice. The total was just an additional nicety and I've since added logging else where that does keep track of that initial request count. Thank you!
