[Feature Request] Import from Owntracks .rec files

I have been running Owntracks for a few years and so all my current location data is stored as .rec files.

I would like a native solution to import these .rec files.

Exporting Owntracks data via the webui as JSON does not work when attempting to import into Reitti. I don't think these exports are GeoJSON exports. The .rec files should be the source of imports from Owntracks in any case.

that sounds like a reasonable request. I did not encountered these rec files until now. I expect that the json is in the owntracks format.

I will need to setup the infrastructure to retrieve a rec file before i can start with that. If you are comfortable with it, feel free to send me one to daniel@dedicatedcode.com. No problem if not, I understand it. I can probably get hold of one rec file myself.

As far as I know, OwnTracks recorder uses LMDB to store data, so these .rec files might not be simple JSON.

But there is ocat which allows to export data in various formats. I guess that would be the way to migrate data from OwnTracks recorder to reitti.

If you would still like some example rec files, I can look at sanitising some and sending them to you.

I will have a look at ocat, however, Dawarich supports imports via Owntracks .rec files so similar functionality would probably be good for other users like myself.
