Hi, I just got an RFP44 to experiment with and have been following the guide to set it up (it's been very helpful - thanks!). It's running SIP-DECT 8.0 and I've got it setup to run in OMM mode.
I had some trouble registering a PP, so I thought I'd just share my notes on what worked for me. I might've missed something, but I couldn't get any entries to show up in the Event Log on failed subscriptions, so I couldn't find the IPEI.
What worked instead was to create a new entry under DECT Phones with the IPEI left blank, and pick a custom DECT authentication code for it:
Then enable wildcard subscription:
Then register the handset using that DECT pin code, and it subscribes successfully and auto-fills the IPEI:
