According to Zotero, I have written 147 abstracts for the index. This is reported because in the Notes field, I would put "Abstract by Desmond Maley" to keep track of the work. (In reality, there are many more because I would also use material from editor's intros to create abstracts - that would be cited as "From editor's introduction" (etc.) but I am not suggesting that this level of attribution be developed.) Further, in the abstract field, I would put "--Publisher's description" at the end of the abstract if it was the publisher's blurb for a book. When the abstract is quoted without attribution, it means it came from the author. Is there a way to create a separate index for abstractors. This would have the advantage of allowing abstractors to see what work they had done during a given time period. This is a long term project based on the premise that there will be volunteers.
