When this happens you won't see properties for the cards (doctoral advisor, birth place, etc.).

Solution: Write a better error message!

Hi @RicardoUsbeck,

This issue has been addressed in PR #66.
The application now logs a clear error when CouchDB/Cloudant is unavailable
and uses a safe fallback to avoid crashes or silent failures when explorer
properties cannot be loaded.
