As far as I can tell, the 'full posterior' in equation 15 (section 3, page 13) of the straightline chapter doesn't make sense. It contradicts the rules that are layed out in Probability calculus for inference, at least the units don't match and everything on the right-hand side is conditioned on I, so shouldn't the left-hand side be too?
I suppose p(theta|I, ally) would be a consistent term for the left-hand side, and also what we want to calculate.
