Refactor Grid class

AutoBenchYAML and BenchYAML follow 2 different code paths in Grid that are 90% identical. These should be collapsed into a single path to avoid having to maintain separate paths for every update. Additionally AutoBenchYAML should be updated to use the new logging facility introduced by Ted once it becomes available.
